Our anniversary is less than 8 weeks away and the Anniversary Committee is hard at work to make this day memorable.

Anniversary Book
The pre-order price is $65 per book plus postage if required. Pre-order books will be available for pick-up on Friday 1 Sept and Saturday 2 Sept at the 50th events.
Books will be $70 at the weekend’s events.

The celebrations will carry over two days:

ART SOIREE – FRIDAY 1 SEPTEMBER – 7PM-10PM
We invite all past students and staff, as well as the local community, to enjoy a night of 50th celebrations, local art, student music, alumni registration, delicious food from Penny’s Pantry (http://www.penelopespantry.com.au/) and @[1619795721618149:274:2 Chefs and a Cupcake], and a cash bar.

Ticket price will be $20.00 which includes canapes and a glass of wine. This will be an 18+ event.

An Expression of Interest form for anyone interested in performing or having a market stall is almost complete and will be placed on our school website and Facebook page soon.

50TH FESTIVAL – SATURDAY 2 SEPTEMBER – 12PM-7PM
On Saturday the Art Show continues and we ramp up the celebrations with rides, a classic car display, live music and performance, official school and community memorabilia items, stalls, food, fun and we will close the celebrations with a fireworks display!
At the festival you and your family will enjoy:
Food vans – Boost Juice, Twirling potatoes, Waffle Barn, Churros, Hot chips, Food vans – Boost Juice, Twirling potatoes, Waffle Barn, Churros, Hot chips, dagwood Dogs, etc.

Rides – Dodgem cars, Tea Cups, Giant slide, Jumping Castle and we’re hoping for one more. **Ride passes will be available soon!**

School stalls so far – Face Painting, Sweet/Cake Stall, Barbeque, Crazy Hair, Devonshire Tea, Cent Auction, Lob a Choc.

Market stalls

3 stage areas with entertainment from various community groups and school talent and Captain Jak (the original school band consisting of four original NSHS students) finishing off the wonderful day at the major stage on the oval at 5.00pm just before the fireworks!

SPONSORS
If anybody can help with sponsorship either through work, owning their own business, group of friends, etc. please contact us and we will send you a sponsorship prospectus, that are available from $50 – $2,500.

CENT AUCTION
Donations of items for our Cent Auction. If anybody can help with prizes, we’d love to hear from you.

STALL DONATIONS
We are taking lolly and canned drink donations. If you have any other donations, please get in touch! We are also looking for 4L ice-cream containers.

MEMORABILIA
If anybody knows a past student that may have photos that can help us, please let us know. We would like as many photos from the beginning years as we can get. We are also looking for props, e.g. typewriters, work books, tape recorder, microfilm reader, sporting pennants, shorthand books, telex machine etc. all those items that we used to use and our children have no idea what they are.
We are also looking for sewing mannequins to display old school uniforms on.

ENTERTAINERS
If you are an instrumental musician, singer, dancer, band or choir, please contact events@bracridgshs.eq.edu.au for an EOI form.
